SJHS Athletic Boosters welcome you!

The Athletic Boosters meet monthly on the second Wednesday and will begin at 6:00 this year. Meetings will be held in the high school food commons.

All meetings are held in the SJHS Food Commons at 6 p.m.
Mission Statement:
The purpose of the Redwing Athletic Boosters:
- Provide financial support for interscholastic athletic activities at the high school level of the school district.
- Provide and encourage physical fitness, education, development and safety of high school athletics in the St. Johns School District.
- Promote enthusiasm and support of the high school teams/students’ participation in interscholastic competition among students, staff, parents, and in the community.

Membership:
Membership in the Redwing Athletic Boosters is voluntary; however, parent involvement is an essential component for success.
In March, nominations are taken for Trustee positions. Please contact any board member if you would like to be nominated for a Trustee position. Write-in nominations are accepted at the April meeting. Election of Trustees is held in April. Trustees serve a two-year term and begin their term in May.
Additional Notes:
We would like to represent all sports and with more parental involvement, we are better able to fulfill our mission.
Fundraising Events:
- Merchandise sales through The Nest, or through Sports Stop online orders (See SJ Merchandise Order Forms section inside menu).
- Drive One 4 UR School event
- Concessions
Services:
- Act upon funding requests from teams, coaches, and the Athletic Director
- Donate popcorn and water for the SJ Boys Volleyball Aces for Autism fundraiser in memory of Nick Best.
- Award scholarships to senior athletes meeting GPA and community service criteria.
- Provide funding for one team meal for each team during their season
