Community Athletics

Alissa’s Dance Elite, formerly Bohaty’s School of Dance St.  Johns, is operating under new ownership.  Offering quality dance instruction with classes in Tap, Acro/Tumbling, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical and Pointe. Classes are for ages 3 through 18, beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.

Heather's Dance provides various dance classes for kids (pre-dance, jazz, tap, ballet, hip-hop, tumbling, and baton twirling.  Summer camps are also available. Classes start for children beginning at age 2.

Community Activities 

At Studio Retreat, students are provided the space, materials and inspiration to create original, unique and beautiful art in a fun and relaxing atmosphere.

Briggs Library is located in downtown St. Johns.  They offer reading programs for all ages as well as literacy backpacks, exploration packs, guest speakers, clubs for kids and summer reading programs as well. Online resources are available as well.

Forms are available in the main office at the high school.

The IQ Hub is located at the Liquid Fertilizer building in St. Johns. They offer various exhibits and lessons for individuals and groups, as well as games, resources and events for all to enjoy.

In addition to providing 4-H services, the MSU Extension Clinton County also helps families learn about nutrition, health and education. They continually offer various events to support families in Clinton County.  To learn more, visit:

Studio Glazed is located at the Whimsical Party Gallery. Kids as well as adults have the opportunity to learn to make their own pottery on a wheel or get creative designing their own ceramic projects. Saturday and summer kids camps are available.

Tami’s Tutoring LLC provides custom lessons for each student.  Lessons can be done in person or using virtual classroom technology.  Students typically come once or twice a week for 60 minutes per session.

Join the Whimsical Party Gallery for a Saturday morning of creativity! Kids will have a choice from a host of DIY projects! Summer camps are also a hit in the summer as well.

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time.  

Kiwanis is actually a family of service organizations. Led by our adult Kiwanis clubs, we support high school students in service through Key Clubs, junior high students with Builders Clubs, elementary kids through K-Kids, our collegiate leaders through CKI, and adults with disabilities with Aktion Clubs. Through this family of service organizations, we are able to bring every generation together to make the world a better place and ensure that today’s children will grow up to be tomorrow’s service leaders.
