Scheduling and Curriculum Guides
Each late winter/spring, students work through the course selection process with their teachers and counselors at school. Then, they take their materials home and work with their parents to determine their elective preferences. Use the following documents to inform discussions with your child, and organize your questions before contacting the counselors or office with your questions. If you have additional questions, as always, we are a family-friendly school. Call or stop by to schedule a phone call or meeting. We would be happy to support you.
Current 8th Graders: As you are actually enrolling as high schoolers, your materials are not found here. Instead, visit St. Johns High School's webpage or contact their offices.
Current 6th & 7th Graders: Review your course selection form first. If your child has misplaced his/her form, please feel free to download and print a new form here. Then, access the Course Description Guide below for more details on elective offerings.

Current SJPS 5th Graders: The information regarding this process will be distributed through your child's elementary school. Students are provided course selection forms at school. Incoming 6th graders are provided the forms during the 5th-to-6th grade transition process. Students will submit the forms to their 5th grade teachers.

Coming to SJMS from another school district or private school within St. Johns? You must first be enrolled into St. Johns Public Schools, then you will be contacted by a counselor regarding course selection and start dates. Please see the Enrollment page for more information!
